This is our son Andrew. Andrew is a 2007 graduate from Darlington High School. He graduated with a GPA of 4.0.
His greatest passion is wrestling. He had a successful High School career with over 75 career wins and a 5th place medal
at the state wrestling finals. He finished his third year in the wrestling program at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He
had 4 surgeries in 3 years during his college career. He has been coaching wrestling at his old high school. He
is pictured at some of his high school wins and and at his first home meet at UWP. Andrew majored in Environmental Engineering,
and he had a 3.97 GPA.
Andrew has always been a big help with the dogs, both with socialization and some of the labor involved in our home operation.
He traveled extensively when we were showing the dogs ourselves. He was always good to hold a head just before ring time.
Andrew has recently met the opponent of his life. He has been diagnosed with cancer of the spine. Andrew had surgery
in August 2010. Andrew has finished 6 weeks of radiation treatments to his brain and spinal cord at the University of Wisconsin
Hospital
Andrew works full time as an environmental specialist for Sauk county. He has become
as avid fisherman. He spends most of his free time fishing with Shawna. He is the proud owner of a black cat brought home
from my Dad's body shop, her name is Pilgrim.
Andrew just finished his last semester at University
of Wisconsin-Platteville. He graduated in May 2012 with the highest GPA in his college, even though he spent the last 2 semesters
having radiation treatments. He is the strongest person I know.
We are happy to announce that Andrew
and Shawna will soon be married. We are so happy to call her one of our own.
